Children’s Ministry

The Nursery

Our nursery is open from 9:30-11:45 am every Sunday and provides a warm, loving environment for our littlest disciples ages 3 and under to play while parents attend Sunday School or Worship Service. Staff and volunteer Nursery Caregivers provide age-appropriate toys and games to entertain curious minds and busybodies. Please visit our nursery to learn more about the check-in policy and procedures.

Sunday School

Join us each Sunday at 9:30 am for “Orange Ed”, an hour-long exploration of the Bible through games, crafts, songs, and scripture. Kids ages 3-13 will come together to learn a new Bible story each week, and then divide into smaller groups for age-appropriate activities to further their understanding of the lesson, deepen their connection with God, and to share fun and laughter with their peers and volunteer leaders.

Children’s Chapel

Kids are encouraged to attend the start of the 10:45 Worship Service with their families, and to then come forward for the Children’s Message. After the Children’s Message, kids age Preschool-3rd grade are invited to attend Children’s Chapel where they will have a snack, read a Bible story, and participate in fun, hands-on activities that support the week’s lesson. Parents can pick their children up after the service has concluded.

Junior Acolyte Program

Youth ages 3rd grade and older who have graduated from Children’s Chapel serve an important role as Junior Acolytes during the Sunday Worship Services. These acolytes partner with adult mentors to assist throughout the service as greeters, ushers, and candle lighters. This partnership provides youth with a stronger appreciation and understanding of the Worship Service while creating supportive relationships with supporting adult mentors.
