Strangers feature prominently in the stories included in the Bible. None more so than in the birth of Jesus, in part, a story of how strangers reveal to us the character and nature of the God who comes to be with us and for us. So, as you make your Christmas preparations, we invite you to join us for Welcoming the Stranger: How Jesus Celebrates Christmas.

Our Child Development Center families will decorate cookies in their child's classroom. Then everyone is invited to take some time to walk through a luminary walk created by our students, teachers, and the wider church community.

Join us for this family-friendly retelling of the birth of Jesus complete with traditional hymns and a sharing in the light of Christ as the service concludes with a candle-lit singing of Silent Night.

A special offering will be received to benefit our missional partner, Della Lamb, to further their good work partnering with refugees starting new lives in the KC metro.
