Move at your pace.

We know visiting a church can feel awkward. You may be showing up with questions, hope, hesitation, or a little of all three. At Country Club, we place a heavy emphasis on the practicing part of faith. We do not have it all figured out, and we do not have it all together. Fortunately, God loves us anyway.
Whether you’re ready to jump in or just want to take one small next step, we’d be glad to welcome you.

What Sunday is like.

Our worship service usually lasts about an hour and includes music, prayer, scripture, and a message. You’ll find a blend of contemporary and traditional music in a setting that is thoughtful, relaxed, and rooted in the Christian story.
Dress comfortably and casually. Come as you are. No need to know the routine. You’re welcome to participate as much or as little as you feel comfortable.
After worship, many people head to lunch at a local restaurant—a simple way to keep the conversation going and get to know one another.

Planning your visit.

There is a small parking lot off of 57th Street. If the lot is full, street parking is another option.

Entrance
Enter the building off of W. 57th Street. The main entrance is located under the covered awning.

When you arrive
Enter under the covered awning off of W. 57th Street. A member of the Hospitality Team will greet you and help you locate the worship space (immediately to the right) or whatever else you may need.

Coffee
We serve a special blend of Roasterie coffee sourced exclusively for Country Club. Feel free to help yourself to a cup available in the foyer just inside the W. 57th Street entrance.

Bringing kids?

We love welcoming children and families.
Our nursery is available on Sunday mornings for children ages 3 and under, providing a clean, safe, and welcoming environment while parents attend classes or worship.
Children ages 4 to 9 are invited to ccKids Worship, where they engage in story, prayer, activities, and friendship-building designed to help them recognize God in everyday life.

At Country Club, the safety and protection of children is taken seriously. Volunteers working with children, youth, or disabled adults are background checked and participate in Safe Gatherings training.

If it’s your first time with us, check in with any member of the Hospitality Team (by the lobby entrance and just inside the worship space) and they’ll make sure you get where you need to go.

Who we are.

Country Club UMC is part of the United Methodist Church, sharing a common heritage with Christians around the world. At the heart of our faith is the conviction that God loves us unconditionally as an act of grace.
Guided by Jesus’ love, we seek to become an oasis where all may experience God’s transformative and refreshing grace by growing as apprentices of Jesus, nurturing engaging relationships with our neighbors, and cultivating creativity.
In practice, that means we want to be a church where people can grow in faith, build meaningful relationships, and join God’s work in the world.
